| Antigua worth knowing
ENGLISH HARBOUR, ANTIGUA: The island with 365 powdery-sand beaches, one for each day of the year, is one of the least-known Caribbean islands to most Americans. But two Brits, Adm. Horatio Nelson and guitarist Eric Clapton, were and are very familiar with Antigua, a former British colony that is popular with yachters and the the nautical crowd. Nelson commanded the British naval base and shipyard at English Harbour on the island's southern coast in the 1780s. His dockyard no longer caters to naval ships. Instead, it serves sailing ships and yachts. Clapton has built his $8 million house along the rocky southern shore not far from English Harbour, as well as a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. Antigua has been a second home to Clapton. English Harbour is one of the top tourist hubs on Antigua, along with Dickenson Bay on the north coast.

Britney Spears fails to regain lost visitation rights
BRITNEY Spears will not be able to visit her sons at least until her next custody hearing in February and K-Fed has full custody until April. TMZ.com reports that Commissioner Scott Gordon ruled against restoring the visitation rights she lost after the four hour standoff with emergency services a few weeks ago. The Commissioner heard evidence from several other witnesses, including Spears's ex-husband Kevin Federline, two LAPD cops who responded to a custody standoff a week ago Thursday; a parenting coach; a bodyguard, and the court monitor who was present during the drama. PageSix.com reports that the January 4 emergency order which gave Federline custody of sons Sean and Jayden was extended today until April. Britney arrived more than three hours late amid chaos at the courthouse packed with a media throng.

Answer: The way the tournament is set up, Ben Davis and North Central would meet in a girls basketball regional game if each wins its respective sectional. Thus, only one of them could reach the semistate and become a final four team in Class 4A. As of now, the favorites to be the final four teams in Class 4A would be South Bend Washington, Fort Wayne South, Ben Davis and Terre Haute South.
Question: Has there been any talk of Franklin Central's Patrick Bade possibly being recruited for both football and basketball at any school? What level do you think he should play at in both sports? (Ethan from Indianapolis)
Answer: I checked with Franklin Central coaches Mark James and Lance Scheib. Coach James told me that Patrick Bade is being recruited at the Division I level for both football and basketball, but that he is unaware of any school recruiting Bade for both sports.
