RSS is an Internet format that gives you a new way to quickly and easily access Web-based headlines, blurbs, and article links from a wide variety of sources. It's most often used for showing the latest headlines from online newspapers, magazines, weblogs, and vendor and technology information sites.
Using Automatic Discovery
To access an RSS feed, you need a software program known as a news aggregator or RSS reader. If you already have a news aggregator and it supports auto-discovery, you can usually add an RSS link for a given site by using your aggregator to surf the home page of that Web site.
Adding An RSS Link Manually
When auto-discovery doesn't work, the manual process is easy enough:

Pete Doherty Caught Injecting Heroin on Film
Pete Doherty has been caught injecting heroin on film, just hours after claiming he was drugs free.
The Babyshambles rocker is shown in the footage - shot on a mobile phone at his Wiltshire home on Friday (02.11.07) - 'cooking up' the class A drug in a spoon before filling up a needle and sticking it into his right arm.
Pete, 28, is seen still wearing the green wristband from the MTV Europe Music Awards in Germany the night before, at which he boasted he was still clean after spending six weeks in rehab and even joked he "missed" hard drugs.
A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "It's not the first time he's injected since he was supposed to have got clean. He may have got clean through rehab, but as soon as the temptation is put in front of him, he cannot help himself.

Indictments include drug busts, child pornography
A Johnson County grand jury handed up indictments last week for charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child, stalking, burglary, evading arrest, possession of controlled substances and child pornography.Robert Walter Bonner and Amanda Dawn Bonner were reindicted on possession of marijuana in a drug-free zone between five and 50 pounds. On May 8, the Burleson Police Department seized more than 500 marijuana plants in the Bonners' home, which was 1,000 feet from Kerr Middle School. The couple's two children were placed in foster care. Robert Walter Bonner was also charged with possession of child pornography. The task force found the images on a computer seized from Bonner's home during the arrest.Chistopher Warren Bone of Mineral Wells was indicted on a charge of stalking. Bone, 42, was arrested by the Cleburne Police Department on Sept.
